IFIL - IFIL and Auchan close the sale of Rinascente’s textile activities

Following the approval by the European antitrust authority, the deal signed
on March 13, 2005 has been closed.
The 99,09% share of Rinascente S.p.A’s capital stock owned by Eurofind
Textile S.A. – a Luxemburg company controlled by Auchan and IFIL – has
been sold to Tamerice Srl, for a purchase price equal to € 888 mln, as previously announced.
